As a result of his training, Mr. Paggins adds +1 damage rolls. On a Natural 20, he bites the limb of a human-sized or smaller opponent (DMs discretion).

Kleego, feeling guilty about getting drunk and starting a fire in barrowcrest, takes his newfound loot and asks around about building a shelter for those who have been displaced by the massive conflagration. The townspeople are quick to praise him and take him up on his offer (not knowing that he caused the first fire). The townspeople praise Kleego and raise him up over their heads, thinking him a good Samaritan, and a selfless benefactor. They all head to the tavern (the one that wasn't burned) for some drunken celebration, all drinks are on Kleego! The whole night, the townsfolk praise Kleego profusely, and give him their honest thanks, as Kleego gets drunker and drunker (trying more to assuage his guilt). During the festivities, Kleego meets up with his current comrades, who urge him to drink even more! The celebrations go on through the night, and on the way back to their current place of lodging (on the outskirts of barrowcrest, seeing as how their previous inn has burned down) Kleego runs inside a barn, thinking to relieve himself. In his drunken stupor, Kleego frightens several animals who knock over a lit lantern (the one than kleego put there so he could see). This immediately starts a fire, and his fellow comrades look on in panic and horror as Kleego runs out of the barn, beard aflame! and a large conflagration spreading behind him.

The party runs to their current haunt (after putting kleego out) before the farmers or anyone else notices them. They manage to slip into their rooms undetected.

Kleego suffers minor burns during the incident and loses a permanent 1 point of charisma. No one except the party knows that he set the second fire (and I doubt they'll do anything about it) so Kleego is pretty much in the clear for now. However rumors of a phantom arsonist is going around town now, some people think he is a malicious pyro, others think he is just a fool. One thing is for certain though, if the townspeople ever did find out about Kleego, there would be much hell to pay.

Only the party know he's responsible for not one, but two massive fires.
The entirety of Barrowcrest is pretty much in ashes.

Rolled a 2 for gp, and a 3 for a failed save.

Then rolled 20 (started another fire) on fail chart and a 4 and 4.

You approach the burnt out temple husk (all that remains of the great fire that ravaged Barrowcrest), offer your donation of 100gp, and consult with the priests of Ygg.

The priests are horrified to learn of the fate of the Fount and curse its bearer for being so careless :p

They do note that the temple's greatest possessions were housed in a secret basement and were not destroyed by the fire. They include the Libram of Ygg that holds one of the incantations used to construct the Fount of Law. If you were to undertake the quest to close the Pit of Chaos they would lend you the Libram but expect it to be returned upon completion of the task. In order to close the Pit of Chaos you must be within 20 feet of the pit and recite the Holy Verse within the Libram. This will take 5 full rounds.

100 gold coins later you end up shitfaced and fall back into you bed, or a nice cozy ditch, but wake up drunk with a terrible hangover (-2 to hit/saves). Geez, was that Romulan Ale?

You do not gain experience points for this carouse and you do not learn any new information on a Fount alternative.

Sorry guys I avoid carousing normally so it may take me some time. I want to search Threshold for a replacement Font. So I would go to the clerics and tith to find more information on the font and its role. If it is used to close the portal as we've been told how else can the portal be shut, by spell perhaps? Then I would ask if they have ever heard of such a holy relic. If they say yeah in the Barrowmaze I ask if any other holy relics have surfaced nearby. I inform them that we have made our way close to an unnatural portal in the maze and if they have any clerics willing to clense the area. We might need an old priest and a young priest.
If I failed my save I think I do this and drink very heavily at the tavern and make up a bunch of crap in a drunken stupor.

I'm going to The Brazen Strumpet to celebrate Sol's newfound skill mastery (leveling).

However, being a bright and enterprising magic-user, you spend 400gp on various and sundry spell components, seclude yourself, and settle in to probe the complexities and mysteries of the arcane.

Range: 10 feet + 5 feet per level (maximum 30 feet)

By means of this spell the caster conjures a ball of sticky mucilage that s/he can direct toward a single humanoid opponent (or subject to the Referee's discretion) and the effect last for a single round. The effect is subject to the specific target of the spell. The caster may 1) target the head and blind; 2) target the body and constrain from attacking; or 3) target the foot and immobilize. Humanoids and/or monsters over 4 hit dice are unaffected by this spell.

Mead this time, good choice. Kelg stumbles into The Brazen Strumpet, where everyone has taken to calling him 'Kelg the Keg Killer". He throws down 400gp on the bar and exclaims that it is time to party. The Bartender smiles broadly and serves everyone their weight in mead. it appears Kelg has become fond of being the big shot adventurer who buys drinks for the bar! Everyone gets wasted and parades Kelg up on their shoulders around the bar, the end.

Kelg gains 400 experience and drops 400 gold.

I rolled a 1 for gold and a 12 (successful save).

I rolled a 13 on the failed carousing table (Lewd Advances). I rolled a save vs polymorph and succeeded with a 19.

You can interpret these rolls whenever you get the chance.

The next morning, Sol awakes muddy and naked in the upper class district of Barrowcrest, right on the fringes of Lord Ironguard's castle. Before he can think, he is suddenly surrounded by nobles and guards. In time Lord Ironguard himself appears. In a furious but dignified manner, he demands a fine of 250 gold pieces for streaking through his village. Sol, in a very compromised position, reluctantly agrees. Additionally Sol had earned a reputation as a lousy no good drunk (even more so than usual). Subsequent carousing costs are increased by 50% until such time as Lord Ironguard forgets or forgives you.

In summary, Sol gets drunk and streaks through town, pissing off Lord Ironguard in the process. He spends 400 gold investigating leads through town, and on a gratuitous amount of ale and fine foods, plus the repair fee for the damages caused on such a typical bender. In addition he must pay a 250 gold fine for misconduct, a total of 650 gold pieces, and no experience is gained. Due to failing his CHA check, subsequent carousing is made at 1.5 X the typical gold cost, however experience gained does not increase this way. it can be reversed by carousing to restore Sol's reputation, or simply with time.

Sorry about your carousing of late Dan, it's always risky and low rolls mess you up big time. All my characters that have caroused have pretty much gotten this type of treatment or worse.

As a solution to my issue with having too much money and no where to safely put it:

During this week's carousing trip, Sol is going to inquire about purchasing a room at the inn on a more permanent basis and installing a large iron clad chest with a good lock on it for the purpose of storing unneeded adventuring gear and treasure while he's in the Barrowmaze. The chest would need to be fairly large,sturdy, and bolted down to prevent vandalism and the lock would need to be complex enough to thwart the local thieves. I would also like it to have a false bottom panel for hiding extra valuable things.
