lol. seems like Half-Elves really know how to live.
Okay, you rolled a 2 for both your rolls. failing your save and at the same time getting a low roll, almost the lowest infact.
Janis searches Barrowcrest for booze and whores and starts his "quest" at The Brazen Strumpet (a logical choice). Janis, in his excited and happy mood buys everyone drinks at the bar (including many, many for himself). Things are going fine for Janis and everyone has a good time.
Suddenly though, Janis spots a comely wench and shouts every seductive line he can think of, finally she is lured over with promises of fine wines and riches. After some time of Janis buying everyone rounds and getting quite drunk, the seductive lady leads Janis down a shady street to her house.
Janis, in his pleased and self-satisfied stupor could barely react when the comely wench pulled a small dagger on him and demanded all his gold from him.
Janis, ever the fighter, went to pull his longsword, but was hit in the back with a club. He was then beaten again and again when two large men emerged from the alley. Janis awoke several hours later at The Brazen Strumpet, his wounds tended to by Iressa. Iressa explained that though she healed most of the damage, there was only so much she could do because he had been laying in the alley unattended for so long. Janis nodded and slumped back into unconsciousness.
At the end of the day Janis gained 200 experience (he would have gained none on a critical failure), and lost 400 gold as well as his longsword (or whatever his main melee weapon happens to be on his character sheet). The majority of the 400 was stolen by the bandits. The rest of Janis' gold was safely stored in his Inn room.
Further, Janis loses a permanent 1 point of constitution for withstanding such a beating and being left unattended for so long.
